Yes, it's true. I'm a knight.
Been a bit busy lately playing the part. But I haven't been idle creatively.
Still drawing. Still writing my first book of three... I know - I'm slow... Gotta work and tend to lots of other priorities in the process. But, I am making progress!
Because of the business, I've gotten waaay behind here. Messages and deviation stack have really stacked!
So for any of you reading this that have faved my work and/or have begun watching - THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!! I appreciate it more than I can express.

So, I spoke of being a knight. I've found my place in the world of Ren and Medieval fairs and fests. If you've seen my Dark Ranger/Rogue outfit, well that's where it began! At the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival, I met a group of gents that share an affinity of Mediaeval things and just have fun getting in garb. They took me in as part of their group and we formed the order of Knights of Castleton! We've been well accepted by the people behind the scenes of our home turf, and have in turn represented them well. We've even been knighted into Queen Margaret's own Order of the Thistle! It's all for fun, but we seriously love this fun. Our motto is "Insequor Altus Adventum" - "Pursue High Adventure".
As a matter of fact, my buddy Wouter was made an honorary knight of Castleton - being that we're across the way and he's in The Netherlands. Hail House Florusse!

I'm generally the one posting, but we all share the act. I do run Friday Knight Mood Music every week, and it's typically period music. Sometimes I'll cut loose with a little more contemporary stuff, but I keep it knightly.

It has finally happened! & have a new baby!
Her name is SkyeStock
It is a marriage of Cheryl's photography and a blend of our ideas and concepts. Stock and resource.
We intend to fill the account with imagery ranging from people to nature & beast, as well as action shots.
We've started with 4 new images from a trip to the Muskogee Renaissance Festival. There will plenty more.
I'll be donning my medieval garbs for some poses and action shots with sword, bow, axe and flail, too!
So if you're out looking for some image ideas or photomanips, drop by and/or watch for stuff you may like to use.

Greetings one and all! I've missed you! I've missed my creativity! I think it may have returned, though. So, perhaps you will be graced with the viewing pleasure of my artwork once again and very soon! Listen to me... Like I'm an artist to be sought after. Pfft...
My apologies for not giving you anything to see lately. Like I said though - I'm back to working on it!

Spring brings on the Medieval and Ren Faires and I aim to attend them - one down and one to go!
Thus, I have donned my new garb - which I customised myself. I'm proud of it! Finally! An outfit that ... "suits" me. Ba-dum crash!   Ahem... sorry. I'm posting a few shots of it so that you might feast your eyes on the coolness of... The Rogue! Enjoy!

Greetings to my latest watchers and friends - Thank you for wanting to keep tabs on me - even with my meager offerings lately.

I've been busy, preoccupied and just exhausted. I blummin' despise Summer! Everybody's always like "Woohoo! It's summertime! Partaaay! Beer and bikinis!" Well they can stuff their bums with all that crap! This season is oppressive. The stifling heat. The dryness. The clear blue sky - open wide for the sun to pommel you! No thank you!

I eagerly await the fleeting, yet awesome season of Autumn! Cooler climate! Clouds! Rain! Colours! Halloween! Thanksgiving! Long sleeve shirts! Jackets! Ahhh! Just around the corner!

This also gives me a boost in my creativity! Summer sapped my artistic energy. But with the anticipation of the onset of Autumn, I'm gettin' in the mood! Ohhh yyyeah! Aaall riiiight! Let's get it on!.... excuse me.... Heh heh... Got a little excited... I'm just happy to feel like I can draw something. And write some more! Got a story to get done!

But first - drawing! I'm working on some Hobbity stuff! Started on a cool image with Bilbo and Thorin. Just a few more Dwarves to go!

Okay, cutting right to it! Before I do, understand that this
is a rant and it is strictly my opinion. It's not a shot at
anyone, or any group of people. Just my personal
preference and take on something.
Now then, I am a fantasy art enthusiast. I love to see what
people conjur up. I love to see how people envision
Tolkien's characters on their own, as well as what is drawn
from the LOTR films. I really like to see original works and
concepts too. There's some fantastic and crazy stuff in our
heads! However, I know it's fantasy, but I like a little
practicality with my fantasy and there's a few things that
annoy me. Warrior women - medieval, modern, futuristic,
whatever - it's like they can't be sexy unless they're barely
wearing anything! How is a girl gonna protect herself just
wearing bikini armour?!!! What good is it to protect her
naughty bits if she's got a high potential to be cut in half?!!
And high-heels..... sprained-ankles and a lot of stumbling
on the battlefield anyone?! Jeez!
And one other thing - Aragorn and Legolas, or Skwizgar
and Toki in bed or kissing..... WTF?! To each their own, but
but putting these characters in such situations is bloody
stupid to me! Usually in chibi style too.... Sorry everyone.
